Pathology Demonstrated

PATHOLOGY DEMONSTRATED (1-3)

Non-contrast study

  • Diffuse lung conditions of the interstitium such as:

    • Interstitial lung disease

    • Cystic lung disease

    • Small airways disease

    • Pulmonary micronodules

    • Bronchiectasis

Patient Preparation

PATIENT PREPARATION

  • Patient able to lie still for ten minutes

  • Not claustrophobic (sedation may be given)

  • Cognitively capable of following basic instructions, including breathing instructions (inspiratory, expiratory and prone images are required)

  • Metal artefacts removed from the region of interest

  • No respiratory distress when lying supine
